The Wilds of the Cretaceous

Niger · Late Cretaceous · 95 million years ago

A group of young Carcharodontosaurus takes on an older Spinosaurus in a shallow forest pool.

About this film

I’ve imagined the younger animals as surviving siblings, still learning what they can take on. The older animal has survived encounters before. Getting close enough to bite gives him a chance to fight back.

An independent, AI-assisted film. The setting draws on fossil discoveries from Niger; the individuals and encounter are imagined.
